Preventative Dentistry

By prioritizing regular dental check-ups and cleanings, you can avoid potential complications, such as cavities and gum disease.

Preventative dental care is the cornerstone of our practice, ensuring you maintain a healthy smile. Whether you're young or young at heart, our comprehensive dental care is tailored to meet every family member's needs.

Comprehensive Dental Exam

Our comprehensive check-ups go beyond the surface, utilizing digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and a 3D oral health scan to thoroughly assess your dental health. Our approach allows us to detect issues early on and create personalized treatment plans tailored to your needs. Every check-up will also include an oral cancer screening to identify any suspicious spots in your mouth, tongue, and throat.

Sealants

Looking for a pain-free way to prevent cavities? Our sealant treatments provide a protective barrier over the biting surfaces of your teeth, reducing the risk of decay without any drilling involved.

Airpolish Hygiene

Regular dental hygiene sessions are essential for keeping your teeth and gums in optimal condition. Our gentle and effective airpolish hygiene removes plaque and tartar build-up using a targeted jet of compressed air that is mixed with water and powder. It has been proven to be very effective at removing stains from the surface of teeth.

Fluoride Application

Fluoride treatments provide an added layer of protection against cavities by strengthening the teeth's enamel, making them less susceptible to bacteria and decay.

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry focuses on repairing and restoring damaged or lost teeth. Whether you have cavities, cracks, or missing teeth, restorative dental procedures can help bring back your smile's radiance and boost your confidence.

Fillings

Tooth-coloured fillings are a common restorative procedure used to treat cavities and restore the appearance and functionality of damaged teeth. At Blue Bird, we use composite fillings that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, giving you a bright and healthy smile.

Crowns

Dental crowns are versatile restorations that can strengthen and protect weakened or damaged teeth. We offer aesthetic, tooth-coloured crowns that blend perfectly with your smile.

Root Canals

Root canals are aimed at saving severely damaged or infected teeth. Our experienced dentists perform root canals with precision and care, alleviating pain and preserving your natural teeth.

Bridges

Bridges are an excellent solution for replacing missing teeth. These restorations anchor to adjacent teeth and bridge the gap. Our team crafts bridges that blend flawlessly with your natural teeth, giving you the confidence to smile, eat, and speak without complication.

Inlays/Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are a way to restore teeth that are too badly decayed or chipped for fillings. Our inlay/onlays are specifically made to fit exactly into your tooth cavity and are bonded into place, making them strong and hard-wearing.

Dentures

For patients with multiple missing teeth, dentures offer a customizable and functional solution. Our dentures are carefully crafted to fit comfortably and restore your ability to chew, speak, and smile confidently.

Real people. Real smiles.

You're in good hands

I have had the pleasure of being a patient for a long dental treatment at Blue Bird Dentistry. My experience here was a dream; from the friendly faces at reception to my dentist Dr Angeliki and her lovely assistant Rozhan. Both were always welcoming and sweet whilst remaining almost perfectionist in their work. I was able to feel comfortable in their clinic whilst well informed of all the next steps in my treatment. Iv recommended them to all my friends and family and would highly recommend everyone to give them a go. I will be continuing to come here for any dental concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions, we've got answers.

Don't see the answer you're looking for?

  • How do I get started with Invisalign?
Your path to a confident smile begins with a free Invisalign consultation! Our Invisalign Provider Dentists will discuss your goals and outline a bespoke plan for your smile transformation. You can book online or fill in the contact form below and one of our team members will get in touch.
  • What can I expect during my Invisalign Consultation?
During your Invisalign Consultation, we will examine your smile and discuss your needs & wants. This will include: a sneak peek at your new smile with a 3D digital scan, a comprehensive dental examination and a bespoke treatment plan.
  • How much will my Invisalign treatment cost?
Like any other type of orthodontic treatment, the price of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your dental correction and your course of treatment. Your payment options include: upfront payment, payment plan or interest-free finance (0%). You can find our price guide here.
  • How long will my Invisalign treatment take?
The length of treatment depends on multiple factors, like how complex your case is and how often you wear your aligners. Your Invisalign dentist will determine exactly how long your treatment could take based on your specific needs. On average, Invisalign treatment time is 12 to 18 months, though you can start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
  • Is Invisalign painful?
Invisalign treatment moves your teeth by applying gentle, constant force, but some people do feel temporary discomfort for the first few days of wearing a new set of aligners. Typically, people describe it as feeling “pressure” and it’s normal — it’s a sign your Invisalign clear aligners are working and transforming your smile. Please see your Invisalign dentist if you have any concerns or experience continued discomfort.
  • Will I need to wear a retainer after Invisalign?
Our Invisalign Provider Dentists recommend that anyone who has completed orthodontic treatment, whether with braces or Invisalign treatment, use a retainer to prevent teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position. Our team provides complimentary removable retainers alongside your Invisalign treatment.
